Message basically, it was your college road trip situation.

I want to thank Maglito for asking me along on the trip. It was not only fun, but educational as well.
I want to thank Kyle of SGP who I have never met after many years of association over the internet. He was a very honorable and gracious host. To be honost, being in his shop was very relaxing. Everyone of his employees were busy on many projects, but they were all accomodating to us tourists. They made us feel welcome.
I want to thank Aliaz and his GF. They offered up his place for me to stay and were very welcoming.
I want to thank the members of TTZD who went to the dinner that I couldn't make. I've never missed a TTZD meet that I could attend... but i was physically in capable of going.

Unfortunantly, I've been quit ill over the past few months. I was on disability from work when I took the trip (still am). I thought that getting away and seeing my close friends in Dallas would be a relaxing endeavor and maybe help heal. However, it took it's toll on me in more ways then one. I ended up spending much time in bed resting during the trip. I was looking forward to helping with the engine pull, etc.

*important note.... I did see some very important people that mean a lot to me in my life, all be it far too briefly (guapo/damonz/david280z). It was truelly a blessing to be surrounded by good friends when the cards aren't in your favor.
A day or two after I flew home from houston, I unfortunantly ended up back in the hospital for a fairly long stay. I just got out today (Saturday, February 26th), but am still quit ill.

Details are not important, but it is with sincere gratitude that my trip host, Maglito, put up with me considering my situation. Same goes for those that saw and helped me along the way during the trip.

warmest regards and peaceful dreams,
the nixit.
